At the Operation Physician Advocacy (OPA) meetings held this summer, we heard—more than ever—that physicians and patients alike are looking for new and innovative ways to communicate with their patients. At the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS), we are utilizing a message on-hold service that allows us to customize messages to members and prospective members, delivering important and useful information when callers contact the NCMS and are placed on hold as their call is forwarded.

How does it all work?

When you choose Atlantic OnHold for your practice we will provide you with an OnHold Player, which will be installed by your phone provider into your system. Our production department will dial into that machine to update your messages (usually monthly or quarterly) based on the package you choose.

You’ll supply us with information using our medical script form and from that we’ll write a first script. Once your message is approved and produced we’ll download it directly to the OnHold Player over the telephone. From there, we’ll remind you when it’s time for a new message and we’ll continue to do the writing and production for you. Atlantic OnHold is turnkey!
